Ramen noodles may be humble, but with a little creativity and flair, they can be taken to a whole new level being transformed into a restaurant-worthy meal. Join Chef Tess for this fun filled cook-along adventure and learn to turn this humble noodle into a truly special meal using high-quality proteins, fresh vibrant vegetables, and Asian pantry stables. Learn to elevate texture and taste, marinate the protein, and prepare the vegetables and how to build bold, balanced flavors by crafting a rich full- flavorful sauce. Then discover a few simple cooking techniques for layering the ingredients and the flavors to create depth, texture, and visual appeal in every serving. Whether you are a busy home cook or a curious foodie, you will walk away with serious ramen inspiration and the skills to continue to turn a simple pack of Ramen noodles into a healthy, nutritious gourmet experience!

While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional.

A list of ingredients and class details will be received in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. The Instructor’s Personal Recipes from this class will be included in a professionally made PDF packet to be received by participants after the class.

Note: One registration fee covers immediate family members living full-time in the same household. Adult supervision is required if children participate. If friends, adult children, or extended family members are participating together, EACH separate household must register SEPARATELY.

This virtual class will be held via Zoom. All participants must have audio and visual technology capabilities, such as a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, or a smartphone.

Tess Georgakopoulos, creator of Dish it up Good also known as “Chef Tess—Culinary Artist”, brings over four decades of cooking and baking experience to her work as a culinary educator and Community Education instructor.

Raised in a Greek Family where food was a central expression of love and connection, Tess developed her passion for cooking at a young age alongside her father, a trained chef. Those early experiences continue to shape her approach today—blending tradition, creativity, and deep appreciation for the role food plays in brining people together.

As an accomplished cook, baker, and recipe developer, Tess is continually expanding her culinary repertoire through ongoing experimentation in her test kitchen. She is known for creating thoughtfully designed “gold standard” culinary experiences that combine technique, creativity, and approachability.

She currently partners with over 60 public school districts across Minnesota, and additional programs in Wisconsin, Missouri, New York and Oklahoma, and has taught over 5,000 participants. Through her teaching, Tess empowers home cooks of all skill levels to build confidence, expand their abilities, and experience the joy of creating meaningful meals in their own kitchens Her guiding philosophy is simple: to make cooking approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding—helping others “make dishing simple and delicious”.
