Crocheting: Beginner

Have you ever wished you could crochet? Well, here's your chance! In this introductory class, you will make a dish or wash cloth using basic crochet stitches: starting chain, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

Required supplies: scissors, size H crochet hook, and a skein of cotton yarn.

Lisa Christianson is excited to share her passion for crocheting/knitting with you! Lisa learned to crochet in a Willmar Community Education class more than 40 years ago and learned to knit from her daughter when she was 30. Lisa claims not to be an expert, but will teach you the basics so that hopefully you will love this skill and can eventually create some masterpieces of your own too.
