Expectant Parenting
Are you preparing for the arrival of a new baby? Expectant Parenting is a comprehensive class co-taught by Willmar Early Childhood Family Education and Public Health. Essential topics to help you feel confident and prepared for parenthood will be presented. We want to support parents as they embark on this exciting journey.
1st Session Preparing for Delivery and Breastfeeding.
2nd Session All about Newborns and Car Seat Safety plus Bringing Baby home.
A light snack will be provided.
This class is offered 4 times a year: August, November, January and April.
Kari J Fischer
Instructor
Kari is the Willmar ECFE teacher. Her favorite part of her job is watching, supporting, and encouraging children as they learn through play. 'Play' is a child's work and we as adults need to encourage that the best we can!
Rachel Jeppesen
Instructor
Rachel is the Parent Educator for ECFE. She has been a teacher and administrator in the early childhood world for over 20 years. As a classroom teacher art, music, literature, science and fun are staples in her teaching. Walking alongside parents as they raise our future generations is a joy and privilege.
