This hour-long production of The Nutcracker Story Ballet is based on the classical Nutcracker Ballet by Marius Petipa with music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The story tells of Godfather Drosselmeyer who brings Clara a wonderful gift, the Nutcracker. The party ends sadly as Clara’s brother, Fritz, breaks the Nutcracker. After the party, Clara dreams of defeating the Rat king and his mice with the Nutcracker and Toy Soldiers by her side. Clara’s dream continues to the Land of Sweets, where attendee watch The Snow Waltz, Russian, Arabian, the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger and her Children. The Ballet ends with the grand Waltz of the Flowers.
