Get ready to explore the building blocks of life — one tasty creation at a time! In this hands-on STEM class, students will step into the “Cytology Kitchen” to design and build edible 3D models of plant and animal cells. Using cookies, candy, frosting, and other fun materials, participants will discover the important parts of a cell and learn how each structure helps living things grow and function. Along the way, students will compare plant and animal cells, experiment with creativity and design, and bring science to life in a deliciously memorable way!
