Mastering the Multi-Cooker
Take the mystery out of your electric pressure cooker (multi-cooker) in this engaging, LIVE, chef-led virtual cook-along experience. Learn the foundations of cooking and care, and how to make a few amazingly satisfying dishes in your multi-cooker. Participants are invited to join in a hands-on cook-along creating the instructor’s Creamy-Cheesy Tuscan Chicken with Penne - a flavorful, family-friendly meal that is sure to be a new household favorite.
In addition, participants will be treated to a Yogurt Tutorial, and demonstrations in creating breakfast and dessert options using the multi-cooker. An interactive and welcoming class with time built in for questions throughout—so you can leave feeling confident and inspired.
On the menu: Creamy Steel-Cut Oatmeal or Egg Bites, Creamy-Cheesy Tuscan Chicken with Penne (cook-along), Dreamy Banana Bread, and yogurt tutorial.
An all-inclusive PDF with the Instructor's Original Recipes, yogurt tutorial, cleaning and care, tips and terminology will be provided that will build multi-cooker confidence and creativity.
Equipment Needs: If you plan on cooking-along, a multi-cooker (any brand) will be needed.
A list of ingredients and class details will be received in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. The Instructor’s Personal Recipes from this class will be included in a professionally made PDF packet to be received by participants after the class.
Note: One registration fee covers immediate family members living full-time in the same household. Adult supervision is required if children participate. If friends, adult children, or extended family members are participating together, EACH separate household must register SEPARATELY.
Refund Policy: There are absolutely NO REFUNDS after the ingredient list/prep packet has been sent.
This virtual class will be held via Zoom. All participants must have audio and visual technology capabilities, such as a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, or a smartphone.
Tess Georgakopoulos
Instructor
Tess Georgakopoulos, creator of Dish it up Good also known as “Chef Tess—Culinary Artist”, brings over four decades of cooking and baking experience to her work as a culinary educator and Community Education instructor.
Raised in a Greek Family where food was a central expression of love and connection, Tess developed her passion for cooking at a young age alongside her father, a trained chef. Those early experiences continue to shape her approach today—blending tradition, creativity, and deep appreciation for the role food plays in brining people together.
As an accomplished cook, baker, and recipe developer, Tess is continually expanding her culinary repertoire through ongoing experimentation in her test kitchen. She is known for creating thoughtfully designed “gold standard” culinary experiences that combine technique, creativity, and approachability.
She currently partners with over 60 public school districts across Minnesota, and additional programs in Wisconsin, Missouri, New York and Oklahoma, and has taught over 5,000 participants. Through her teaching, Tess empowers home cooks of all skill levels to build confidence, expand their abilities, and experience the joy of creating meaningful meals in their own kitchens Her guiding philosophy is simple: to make cooking approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding—helping others “make dishing simple and delicious”.
