First Aid

With the basic first aid you learn in this course, you could make a difference in the lives of others! This First Aid course uses Chain of Survival to teach the basics of first aid, including injury prevention and when to get help. Upon successful course completion, participants will receive First Aid certification through the American Heart Association.

Deb Brandt

Deb has been teaching monthly CPR and First Aid classes for Willmar Community Education for many years. She's an EMT and is passionate about helping people know how to respond in case of an emergency. Deb is humbled when she bumps into someone who shares a good news story about when they were able to put what they learned into action. Her class participants often comment on her upbeat, hands on teaching style.
