QPR

QPR teaches simple steps to help someone who may be thinking about suicide. You’ll learn how to ask the right questions, offer support, and connect them to help, giving you the tools to save a life through compassionate action.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer- three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Come and learn to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide and how you can provide hope and help.

QPR is included in SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidenced-based Programs and Practices. CEUs available for health and school professionals.
